Jesus Walks Beside Me

Jesus walks beside me I know that he will stay
He’ll stay with me through thick and thin and with me all the way.

The Lord is my shepherd so I will not fear
I will not fear the darkness for I know he’s always near.

The Holy spirit is inside me he helps me make decisions
He helps me know to do what's right and trust in God’s provisions.

God my father comforts me he wraps his arms around me
He holds me tight all through the night even when I feel I'm drowning.

God the king brings peace to me he’s just and knows what’s right
He’s ruler over everything through day and through the night.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Lord, God, and King.
All together they bring joy and contentedness to me.
If you have not asked them into your heart before
Then listen, listen, listen closely for that knock upon your door
And if you hear it… open wide that small door of your heart
And invite him in until the end and never ever part.
